We cannot say we know God and still be broken

We cannot say we know God and still be broken. For, to know God is to be healed of everything that is "not" God. I think it was Augustine who said that when one knows one’s true Self, one simultaneously knows God and is healed. In other words "whole ". That's why I said we cannot know God and still be broken. If that were the case, then we would be in error. And the only reason there'd be brokenness is when we know something else apart from God; this would be our “false” self.

But we have been brightened in God's Glory by receiving His light which He imparted to us. We shine with one brightness and glory, presented holy, blameless and righteous before God. Why? Because it is the very kingdom of God, as He Himself says, which comes in power to those who have seen Him. That is within us.
So, when we look within and truly see nothing else except this First love that is the life of God within us all, we get to experience God's experience of our human life from within us, feeling the joy and the suffering that we feel.
But looking within offers so much more, because it leads to an awareness, a knowingness and a inner realization. He's a consuming fire who burns away everything that is not love and only when we exclusively set our minds on the things of God, we purge those ego processes which take us away from God and step into the true freedom of being completely known.
