It is by God's own doing

Christ is the center of all our human expectations and aspirations and have always been God's greatest work within man. It is by God's own doing that we are in Christ, and this very life of Christ within us, is the revealing of the delight of God that has always been. God's intent has always been for man to be aware of a life filled with intimacy, and not just a life in search of intimacy. For, man searches not for the deep things of God, but the things that seem pleasurable -- but perishable. But the life of Christ is an intimacy of God's all-pervading presence which has always been God's intent for man. It has always been God's intent to enlighten man's soul from within, but man sought to be educated by the world -- thus, defiling his inmost self. Damiam V. Henry

A different perspective of Jesus and woman at the well

We all know the story of Jesus meeting the Samaritan woman at Jacob’s well is (John 4:1–42). This isn't just a story, but the beauty of the Gospel of union, peace, of Salvation. Whatever we wish to call it. The story reveals that Jesus crosses cultural, religious, and social boundaries by speaking to this Samaritan woman at noon, offering her spiritual "living water" and revealing Himself as the Messiah. Jesus rests at Jacob’s well in Sychar, Samaria, around noon. The woman comes alone during the hottest part of the day, likely to avoid social isolation or judgment. And we all know Jesus would break this social barrier. How? He asks her for a drink of that water in the well. She looks surprised because according to what she's accustomed to, Jews and Samaritans are hostile enemies, and on top of that...men do not publicly speak with women in this context. We cannot say we know God and still be broken

We cannot say we know God and still be broken. For, to know God is to be healed of everything that is "not" God. I think it was Augustine who said that when one knows one’s true Self, one simultaneously knows God and is healed. In other words "whole ". That's why I said we cannot know God and still be broken. If that were the case, then we would be in error. And the only reason there'd be brokenness is when we know something else apart from God; this would be our “false” self. But we have been brightened in God's Glory by receiving His light which He imparted to us. We shine with one brightness and glory, presented holy, blameless and righteous before God. Why? Because it is the very kingdom of God, as He Himself says, which comes in power to those who have seen Him. That is within us. He continuously looks at us!

Earlier this year we went to go see the principal at our son's scool, but we had to wait. He was busy speaking to all his students in the school hall. So, as I stood there, I carefully looked at all the faces of the children, with the hopes I'd see one of my sons atleast. And then I saw my youngest son. I kept looking at him, and looking and looking, hoping that he'd eventually see me. But he was too focussed on the principal's speech. I began losing hope, but I wanted him to see me. I wanted him to be aware that I'm here, I might not be sitting next to him. But, I was there, I was aware of him sitting there. And I wanted him to know it. A few minutes later his mother stood next to me, and suddenly he looked! He smiled and kept waving at me and his mother. He looked happy. Then he continued listening to the principal's speech. Only when we look inward

When we see, the first thing we'll realize is that our true Self is first and foremost essentially relational, and comes to fruition in communion with God, and we immediately and simultaneously know God and are healed. And the only way for "us" to live in a truly holy way and be open to God, are mutually co-present. Only when we look inward, our true Self that we find can only be described as the cosmic "Body of Christ". When we do awaken to our True Self, we become (by participation) the Spirit of Christ who prays, sees, smells, hears, thinks, knows and feels in us. One of example of this reality is the life of Jesus here on earth. You see, not once did He hold back the love and joy He experienced in communion with God His Father, but sought to share that love completely, and wholeheartedly and in so doing, to fulfill the destiny of His true Self.
